Disruptive Labs is a Startup Innovation Lab (aka Venture Studio). We launch and scale tech startups in California and all around the United States. Based in Los Angeles and Silicon Valley, our experienced team joins exceptional founders and early-stage startups with ambitious projects to help them build, validate, and scale their businesses.
We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our Innovation Team. As a UI/UX Designer at Disruptive Labs, you will collaborate with our Innovation Team and portfolio companies to launch and scale next-generation products impacting a multitude of users across different platforms. You will be expected to contribute to all aspects of design and execution including pitching ideas, designing features (prototyping, visual design, and interaction design), and partnering with engineering to implement your vision.
What you will do
Contribute to all stages of the design process from ideation to execution
Design mobile apps, websites, landing pages, pitch decks, social media campaigns and event graphics, sales collateral and other promotional and marketing materials
Collaborate and communicate effectively with other designers, product managers, and engineers
Conceive new feature ideas and help define short and long-term product roadmaps
Expected qualifications & skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
A well-crafted portfolio showcasing your aesthetics and interactive design skills
Proven Experience in Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design and prototyping tools
Ability to prototype interactive design experiences and to act as a Product Manager when needed
Self-motivated attitude and strong desire to continuously learn and grow.
